About Bonnie

My parents were born Amish, but converted to Mennonite when they got married, so I was raised in a Mennonite home with eight other siblings.

My journey with the Lord started at a young age. I was 13 when I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior and got baptized in the Holy Spirit. I was always drawn to the Lord and wanted to please Him. When I was 16, I started sprouting out on my own and started going to an Assembly of God church where I met my husband, Tim Wirgau.

Tim and I got married March 6, 1982 at the ripe age of 18. Two short years later, in 1984, our beautiful daughter, Tonya Mae, was born. Then in 1986 our handsome son, Bradley Scott, was born.

Our children have met their soulmates. Tonya, along with her husband, Casey Nichols, and their three children Sadie Mae, Annalise Elizabeth, and Malachi Emil reside in North Carolina. Our son, Bradley,  along with his wife, Ashlee, and their two daughters Sutton James and Haven Scout live near us in Tennessee. This Mama/Grammie couldn’t be more proud of our children and grandchildren. They are the joy of my life.

It was at an early age I realized that God had called me as one of His intercessors - some would say Prayer Warrior. I love to pray! I love to decree and declare His word over a situation! I love to pray in the spirit. I love to teach people how to pray. This is who God has made me! Over the years, I have learned how to take God‘s word and decree and declare it over situations that I am going through. In Psalms 103:20 NKJV it says, “Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word.” His angels are waiting on behalf of you to release your declaration of His word to the situation that you’re in and they will go help you. This is the purpose of this book - to equip the saints to use His word and go to battle.
